1. Provide one sentence (or paragraph) that covers your area of responsibility.
The Technical Data steward is responsible for providing back end support for several applications such as the Local data warehouse (HR and SIS), and implementing approved requests for security from data stewards for the core systems (Advantage, HRMS, SIS).
The Technical data steward will provide additional expertise to the DG Council regarding applications needed for the data dictionary.
Responsible for ID Management, Web CT, e-Mail, and other foundational systems..
2. What data systems do you rely on to meet those obligations?
All University systems, including those maintained and managed by SCS.
3. Are some of these external to the "core" systems?

All data is managed by other departments.
5. What data does your unit enter and manage that is unique?
As technical data steward, responsibility is to manage the data from other sources with integrity, consistency, and reliability. Developing policies and operational processes to assure that data is managed properly is unique to this unit.
