14. Position Control - HR only reports on positions filled.
Status - Pending October 11, 2007,
Closed December 12, 2007 - Gwen Pons reported that she updated Gina Strebel that per SCS, Data Warehouse pulls position control information from the Position Control Data Base which includes budgeted filled and unfilled positions as opposed to HR which deals with filled positions. Gina requested HR clarify any departmental requests for position information from HR and refer them to Data Warehouse if they are looking for budgeted filled and unfilled position.

Description of this data issue:
Position control – HR only reports on positions filled. Vacant line items are missing, which makes the report not helpful for budgeting. There are also timing problems with availability of position data.
